YOUR OKTOBERFEST EXPERIENCE

Every year, the Rotary Club of Simi Sunrise transforms the beautiful and festive Lemon Park into and epic Bavarian playground, complete with authentic German beer, music, games, costumes and tons of delicious German food! What's more, all of your BEER IS INCLUDED with a general admission ticket. That’s right! Nobody pays for beer at the Simi Valley Oktoberfest! Enjoy live music and entertainment. Sing with friends. Dance beneath the main beer tent. Feast on brats, munch on pretzels and drink as much ice cold beer as you want!

Featuring the music and hilarious performance of Hammerstein Musik Bavaria

A 4-piece global get-down machine performing traditional polka, tango, operetta, and the occasional well-placed classic rock song. Hammerstein shows run the gamut from infectious dance rhythms to romantic serenades, from interactive dance numbers to virtuosic instrumental features. This delightful Oktoberfest band is sure to keep the party in Simi Valley jumpin!

EVENT RULES

Simi Valley Police Department

This event shares a parking lot with the Simi Valley Police Department. Simi Valley Police Officers will be on site throughout the festival day.

We want everyone to have a fantastic time while ensuring a safe and respectful environment. Please read and follow these rules to help us achieve this goal.

Age Restriction

This event is 21 and over. You must have a valid ID to enter.

Respect and Attitude

If you consider yourself to be a fun, friendly, and happy person, welcome! If, after having a few beers, you do not consider yourself to be polite, respectful, and kind, please stay home – this event is not for you.

Listen to Festival Volunteers

Festival volunteers are here to ensure the event runs smoothly. If a volunteer asks for your cooperation or requests that you change your behavior, please listen and comply. In the event of an emergency, follow the directions of Event Volunteers, Security Personnel, and Police.

No Stealing

Celebrate together in a spirit of camaraderie and mutual respect. Please refrain from taking anything that does not belong to you, whether it be physical items, space, or experiences. Theft is not only against the law but also against the spirit of our festival. Anyone found stealing will be removed from the festival grounds and may face legal consequences. Let's create a joyful and safe environment for everyone.

Be Safe

Festival-goers are expected to exercise common sense and avoid unnecessary risks. Drink plenty of water and stay hydrated. Wear sunscreen and take breaks from the sun. If you feel light-headed, sit down and ask an event volunteer for assistance.

Have Fun Responsibly

The Oktoberfest Beer Festival welcomes all people. Ensure that everyone has fun by treating others with respect. If a situation arises with another guest, please find an Event Volunteer for assistance. Enjoy yourself but do not impede others' ability to enjoy the festival.

Prohibited Items and Behaviors

Firearms, weapons, knives, swords, fireworks, and other explosive materials are strictly prohibited.

Outside alcoholic beverages and illicit substances are not permitted. Possession of either will result in dismissal from the festival grounds.

Pets are not allowed, even if they are in a purse. Service animals are welcome.

Comfort and Cleanliness

Guests are encouraged to bring their own camp chairs, blankets, hammocks, etc., for a comfortable viewing experience.

Dispose of trash in the designated receptacles. Simi Valley encourages recycling, and we encourage our vendors to use recyclable products and materials.

Treat the park venue, buildings, and grounds with respect to ensure the festival can continue here for years to come.
